WELCOME TO THE CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH MINISTRY
The Mission of the Children’s/Youth Ministry is to:
- Teach children to worship and praise God
- Help children grow and develop in the Lord
- Build Christ-like character in children
- Teach children the importance of reading the Bible
- Equip children, volunteers and parents with resources, tools and an environment to enhance their skills for the children’s ministry and to enhance each child’s character.
S – Share the gospel of Jesus through song
T – Teach all children about the gospel of Jesus Christ
A – Admonish children to advance in the Lord
R – Read children bibles and materials to help them grow spiritually
S – Show children how to be like Christ
Mini-Kingdom Nursery
- Ages 0 – 5
The Mini-Kingdom nursery offers a safe place for infants, toddlers and pre-kindergarten aged children. (A secure sign “in” and “out” procedure is in place.) Volunteer staff receives a background check as well as training. Staff gives loving care for children while sharing the gospel of Jesus through song, video, bible materials, and learning activities. Snacks provided by parent volunteers.
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday Night: 7:15 p.m.
Sunday Morning: 9:30 a.m.
Children’s Church
- Ages 6 – 12
Children’s Church allows children to advance their learning of the bible through songs, fun lessons, bible activities and games. Children sign in upon entering Children’s Church. However, parents are expected to pick them up due to safety purposes.
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday Night: Immediately following praise and worship service.
Sunday Morning: Immediately following praise and worship service.
